IT Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
  • Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and digital outreach.
  • Generate qualified leads via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and attending tech events.
  • Pitch IT services and solutions tailored to client needs.
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (tech, sales, project management).
  • Ensure client satisfaction and explore upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  1. Market Research & Strategy
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify gaps in the market and suggest innovative service or product development.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the business development roadmap.
  1. Proposal & Presentation Development
  • Create proposals, RFP responses, and business cases for prospective clients.
  • Deliver product demos or presentations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Customize pitches based on the client’s industry, size, and technology stack.
  1. Sales Target Achievement
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
  • Track pipeline status, follow up on opportunities, and close deals efficiently.
  • Use CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to manage and document sales activities.
  1. Collaboration with Technical Teams
  • Understand and articulate technical solutions in business terms.
  • Work closely with solution architects, developers, and project managers to align offerings.
  • Help scope out project timelines, costs, and deliverables during the pre-sales phase.
  1. Contract Negotiation & Closing Deals
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with clients.
  • Ensure contracts align with company policies and client expectations.

Required Skills & Qualities:
